Invitation to the concert

Come and celebrate with us Lithuania’s rich artistic heritage in the heart of Strasbourg!

On 20 June 2026, Strasbourg will host an exceptional concert of Lithuanian sacred music, Light Mass, as part of a broader cultural programme and gathering of the Lithuanian community.

The concert will take place in the historic Saint-Pierre-le-Jeune Protestant Church, one of Strasbourg’s most remarkable heritage sites. The venue holds special significance for Lithuania, as it houses a renowned fresco depicting the country.

The program will feature the music of celebrated Lithuanian composer Vytautas Miškinis. The concert will be conducted by Maestro Vytautas Miškinis himself, together with conductor Laura Škarnulytė and the Fenestra Choir from Germany.

Joining them will be an international ensemble of distinguished musicians: Bernardas Ručinskas (double bass), Tadas Motiešius (accordion), Timothée de La Morinerie (percussion), and Johannes Kraft (piano and organ improvisation).

Bringing together outstanding performers from across Europe, Light Mass promises to be a memorable musical and cultural event, celebrating Lithuania’s rich artistic heritage in the heart of Strasbourg.
