Exhibition dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Baltic Way

The 4th of November the exhibition “Message to the World. The Baltic Way: Twenty Years Later” was inaugurated by Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the Council of Europe Ambassador Gediminas Šerkšnys at the Council of Europe, Strasbourg.

The exhibition of photographs presented by Lithuania is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Baltic Way; it reminds us how Lithuanians, Latvians and Estonians composed a living chain of human hands from Vilnius to Tallinn, the events and the mood of these times.

The delegations to the Council of Europe showed interest to this exhibition, at the opening ceremony the welcome word was pronounced by Ambassador Gediminas Šerkšnys, Deputy Secretary General Maud de Boer-Buquicchio, Ambassador of Latvia Aiga Liepina and Ambassador of Estonia Sulev Kannike.

The exhibition will be opened till the 13th of November.
