Chamber chorus „Brevis“ in Alsace region
The chamber chorus “Brevis” is one of the best choruses in Lithuania. This chorus is composed of 30 young singers and is led by conductor Gintautas Venislovas.
The musical life of the chorus “Brevis” is very various; the collective sings sacral, classic and contemporary pieces of music. Permanent renewal of the repertoire and new interpretations of pieces let to this chamber chorus to be noticed in the different European competitions of chorus. In 2003 the chorus “Brevis” was nominated as the best chorus of Europe and won “European Grand Prix for Choral Singing”.
The chamber chorus “Brevis” will participate at the Christmas’ concerts in Alsace region and will give an opportunity to people to get to know the talent of this chorus and to hear Lithuanian Christmas’ songs.
