On 26 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended the 24th Baltic Council. He reviewed the implementation of priorities of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Baltic Council of Ministers in 2018 and presented plans for further cooperation among the Baltic states.
On 24 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius participated in a ministerial session "Security in Europe - Fault Lines in the East" at the Warsaw Security Forum. Linkevičius called for support to the EU's Eastern Partners, who had decided to join the European path and to respect European values.
On 16 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with Maroš Šefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union. In the meeting, Lithuania‘s Foreign Minister thanked him for lending support to the project of the synchronization of the Baltic states' electricity network with the European system, welcomed the regional agreement on the beginning of its implementation, and discussed further steps.
On 15 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius participated in the Eastern Partnership Foreign Ministers meeting, which brought together 28 EU foreign ministers and their counterparts from the 6 Eastern Partnership countries in Luxembourg.

On 27 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended a high-level side event “Engaging youth in mediation – a step towards lasting peace” of the UN General Assembly, which was organized by the Group of Friends of Mediation.
On 26 September in New York, the U.S.A., the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius took part in a discussion on the Syrian conflict. The meeting aimed to reaffirm support for a political solution to the Syrian conflict, based on the United Nations Security Council resolutions, provisions of the Geneva Communiqué, and to discuss the humanitarian situation in the country.
On 25 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius participated in the opening of the high-level General Debate of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly. The head of Lithuania‘s diplomacy said that a transparent and effective United Nations peacekeeping, respect for human rights, peaceful conflict resolution and multilateralism based on international law remained priority issues for Lithuania in the United Nations.
On 14 September, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius met with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Ambassador Peter Burian. They discussed the development of relations between the EU and Central Asia, with an emphasis on a new EU Strategy for Central Asia, which would be adopted in 2019.
On 30-31 August, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Neris Germanas participated in an informal meeting of foreign affairs ministers (Gynmich) in Vienna, the capital of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The meeting focused on transatlantic relations, the Middle East, the Western Balkans, and multilateral policy issues.
On 16-17 July, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended the 2nd meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs from the EU and from the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) in Brussels.
